- I recently installed MSDN, Visual C++ V4.0, V1.52 and VB V4.0 on my computer
- and I have had VFP V3.0 installed for about six months.
-
- I decided to do the Scribble tutorial and worked through the 32 bit version
- in Developer's Studio with no problem. I then tried to use app wizard in
- the 16 bit Visual Workbench. I can copy the starter app sample files step 0
- into a new subdirectory and work from there, but the App wizard absolutely
- will not let me create a new starter application from scratch. I get the
- message "Invalid file name for new project", no matter what project name I
- try to use. The online docs say that this is normal for certain forbidden
- project names, but this puppy refuses every name. Reinstalling V1.52 didn't
- do a thing to change it.
-
- Has one of these apps overwritten a .dll file or is this a bug in the
- program? Can anybody give me a hint?
